Founded in 1983, the Black Bar Association of Bronx County exists for the education, encouragement and support of its members in their individual and collective endeavors to serve the needs of the minority legal community. The BBABC is also committed to meeting the needs of the minority community as a whole in its understanding and access to the law. The BBABC sponsors many CLE programs, Neighborhood Law Schools and annually provides scholarships to deserving young law students in the furtherance of their education. At the end of each Association year members of the BBABC join with the Judiciary and Legislature to honor dedicated community leaders at our Annual Dinner Dance.
