The New York Criminal Bar Association was organized more than 25 years ago by our first President, Hon. Robert Cohen, to provide a tool to protect and preserve the rights of individuals accused of crimes and to serve as a unifying force for those persons dedicated to this pursuit. Our membership has grown from an initial group of 10 to our present membership of over 500.
