MAY 2010

 MEET & GREET

EASTERN EUROPEAN BAR

GET INVOLVED NOW

BRICK NYC

22 Warren St. , New York , NY 10007

6 pm

A few of us who grew up or have ties to Eastern Europe are organizing a bar association that will include attorneys
from former Soviet Republics and other Eastern European Countries. Our first meeting is
scheduled for May 26th where we can meet and discuss upcoming projects and the structure of the Association. Food and
drinks (cash bar) will be available. See below for the location and time.

Our reasons for creating an Eastern European Bar Association (We can also vote on a name):

  1. Get to know and network with your colleagues
  1. Provide legal help to our various communities
  1. Establish a presence in the New York Legal Community
  1. Have fun

This is just a beginning, but we are very optimistic and believe a  EEBA is way overdue considering the number of attorneys and general population that will benefit from this organization. Since we are in the early stages, all we need is your willingness to meet and
organize. Please email to all attorneys that might be interested in joining. I look forward to seeing many of you soon.

Thanks,

Esmerelda Musilova
Kathryn Salensky

We already have a date in June where an immigration lawyer has volunteered to answer questions at a community center for immigrants from the former Yugoslavia.  We welcome your ideas for other projects in other communities.
